My decision to start a nail art blog is something I've been comtemplating for a while, and now seems as good a time as any! I'm about to start working as a professional nail artist in a gorgeous salon, my YouTube channel is due to launch soon, and I'm in a pretty good place in my life now.
Over the summer I was working in New York as a Magician and a Camp Counselor. It was wonderful, truly, but I was unable to focus on my nail art whilst I was out there, so in a way I'm glad to be back. Now I can devote my time to letting the creative juices flow, getting my Tutorials and Vlogs up and running, and also gain a new qualification - Acrylic nails!! (I'm studying with Essential Nails - if you're a UK/Europe resident, I fully recommend learning with them)
My most recent nail design was inspired by Happy Roses. As my name suggests, I love all things rainbow. But I pull inspiration from almost anything, from sparkles to sushi, from florals to my fandoms (Pokémon and Doctor Who all the way.... and of course, Seto Kaiba from Yu-Gi-Oh!)
All my nail designs are completely freehand, I find there's something so therapeutic about sitting for a while and focusing on the tiniest detail on the tiniest canvas with the tiniest brush... I like tiny things ♥
I have a long list of designs I plan to do in the near future, but I am SO excited for Halloween to arrive! Keep your eyes peeled for some spooktacular fingertips! Boo, everybody!
